  • Battle 5-Screenshots Legal Issues

After quite a hitaus, I decided to make a personal walkthrough on some of my favourite personal games. But then, I have some legal issues that I wish to discuss here:
    1. Is it legal to post up self-made screenshots of the video games, even when you have to pay for the game?

    2. Is it legal if I post up self-made gameplay video of the video games, even when I paid for it?

    3. Does spoilers counts as legal offense?

I need the answers ASAP. Thanks for sharing your idea!

  • Battle 4-Game Songs

Sometimes when I play video games, I do listen to songs played in the beginning and ending at the end of the video games. They are very nice to listen. The ones that I like the most are "I'm believer" as the ending of Megaman X3 and "Unlimited World" as the opening of Luminous Arc 2. Do you listen to the songs?

  • Battle 3-Noiz2sa-My Unofficial Strategy Guide

Noiz2sa is another bullet hell (vertical scrolling) shooter from Kenta Cho (ABA Games) which is also abstract. Your goal is just simply go through 9 stages before you try to defeat the boss (and repeat the cycle until you game over if you choose endless levels). You just simply dodge the bullets, shoot the enemies and collet the green thingy as bonus marks. There's not much to say about that game, so I'll tell everything in one post:

    1. Your hit box (the red dot in your ship) is very small, but don't risk youselves to navigate through the barrage of bullets (unless you are mastered scratching bullets) if possible, especially for beginners.

    2. Shot you enemies wisely. Don't just simply shoot enemies when they come out. A good trick is to destroy the enemies which is nearer to the bullets. The bullets which are near to the destoyed enemy will turned into green thingy which gives you extra scores and save you from dodging trouble. Bear in mind that most of your scores will come from the green things, especially in later stages. (But I don't know the mechanism of the other bonus point appeared after you ended a stage, I need to examine that or if you know, please tell me and I'll credit you for that)

    3. There are a few types of enemies: blue, pink and red. (The boss is always gray) The red enemies are the most dangerous, which is more dangrous than the pink ones. The blue ones are the least dangerous. Shot the most dangrous ones first as you don't want wasting your lives dodging the bullets. (You'll get your first ship for the first 200,000 marks, and the rest will be given every 500,000 [which starts from 0] marks, which will costs you a few stages, depends on your skill)

    4. Since that bosses will just blast off loads of bullets, you might have to navigate through the narrow space between the bullets. In that case, shoot will all your will, but try to dodge/scratch your way.

Well, looks like this site has low traffic, so maybe I'll just turn into other types of things. But then, maybe I'll put up a strategy guide for another freeware shooter if there are request. (No shooters that requires update packs, please)

  • Battle 2-Torus Trooper-My Unofficial Stratergy Guide Part 3

There are a few strategies that can be used in this game, but when you play the game you will tend to use them altogether in a balanced way.

    1. You might want to consider to battle the boss ASAP since that the time you have might be insufficient. Usually, this trick works in normal level, but not in hard or extreme difficulty levels since that you have more ships to destroy and you might need extra time to reach the boss. But then, when you have 30 secs left with 15% more ships to destroy (harder leels give you extra speed for your ship), you can try that.

    2. Another thing to consider is the score that will give you extra time. You might want to use the X cannon to blow away the bullets and get more scores. Sometimes, you can get 15 seconds extra time just by shooting the blast 2 times, given that you shot at the right spot. But it do slowdown your ship, wasting some of the time left. You should just blast off when you find out that your time is nearly over.

These are just general strategies to use. But there are some instances that you will have to imply slightly different strategies:

    1. When there are blue trails detected, avoid them! Don't bother shooting it with X cannon because it won't go away, unless it turned red (become the bullet) and hit by the cannon blast. I've got hit by those bullets lots of times.

    2. When you hit the walls and you are forced to move aside, don't risk youself moving along with the walls. A few bullets will hit you by chance. Slow down your ship using your X cannon, move aside and blast off.

    3. Most bosses in later levels will give bullet hell to you, so use X cannon wisely when you deal with them.

    4. Scoring may determine how much you will have to work on the enemies. Sometimes, you will have to take less scores to prepare for some bullet hells which will giving you extra time dealing with them. But, it is always a good idea to get extra time from the bosses.

This ends the strategy guide. Maybe I'll do noiz2sa next time.

  • Battle 1-Torus Trooper-My Unofficial Strategy Guide Part 2

In order to win the game, you need to attack 96-99 enemies to reach the boss and beat the 1-4 bosses to get 30 seconds of extra time (45 seconds in the second run of the same stage) and continue your game until the end. In fact, you'll get extra 15 mins every 100,000 marks and then, 110,000 and then until 500,000 marks (depend on which stage you are). So, there are a few general strategies that you must practice:
    1. Always shoot your enemies using the Z key. You don't want them to shot you with barrage of bulets, right?
    2. Don't accelerate yourself brutally. You will ended you get hit by a shot, which deduct 15 seconds of time.
    3. Use the X charged cannon wisely. Use it only when you are surrounded by bullets or you want to abuse the multiplier for a score boost. It will slow down your ship and you'll end up wasting time. You will be more vunerable as you cannot use your Z shots while you are charging the X cannon.
    4.  Don't get too much extra time to max out your remaining time. You'll end up wasting the extra time gained.
    5. Move around the tunnel if possible. Moving a low ranges (except blocked by the wall) will making the ship more prone to hit the bullets. In that case, use your X chagred cannon to wipe out the bullets.

The next "battle" will go deeper in specific strategies.
